Newsletter 5.21.21 - CDC Masking Updates, Reminder to Schedule Early & Chuy's EP Release!
As of March 1st, all appointments will take place at Madrona Chiropractic Studio at 1121A 34th Ave Seattle WA 98122.
Clinic Reminders: Schedule Early in the Week
A reminder from Dr. Ledesma: make sure to schedule your appointments as soon as possible and earlier in the week. Same day or next day appointments are rarely available for Fridays and we want to make sure you get the care you need!
You can always add yourself to the waitlist/give us a call if the time/day you'd like to schedule your appointment isn't available, but an appointment isn't guaranteed.
COVID-19 and the clinic: Masks Still Required
Source: Washington State Chiropractic Association (WSCA) Listserv
The CDC’s change of guidance does not apply to healthcare facilities and the Governor’s announcement (read: K5 - Washington state lifting mask mandate for fully vaccinated people) explicitly stated that healthcare facilities are not included in his new, looser regulations.
Unless and until the Governor issues a proclamation lifting restrictions specific to healthcare facilities, or DOH issues an order to that effect, the guidelines for chiropractic clinics remain unchanged.
It is HIGHLY recommended that DCs not stop wearing masks nor allow patients to go without masks (excepting of course for legitimate exemptions) until a proclamation or order stating you can is issued.
Breakdown: KEEP WEARING YOUR MASKS to your appointments and so will Dr. Ledesma until further notice by the Washington State Department of Health.
